Volunteer Opportunities
MAWA has the following needs and wants. If you can help us out with any of the following, please call MAWA.
- A FREE location to hold our monthly African Women's Network meetings & Annual Dinner.
- Knowledgeable volunteers to make presentations on topics related to financial literacy, immigration law, career counseling,, etc. to the African Women's Network and AGILE participants and teach our AGILE participants crochet, knitting & sewing.
- Volunteers with expertise in event planning, ushers and other volunteers for MAWA’s annual conference or dinner and other community events.
- Prizes for the "Amakolo" African Girls' Coming of Age celebration.
- A refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker for our office.
